Format and Rules

- Golf Rounds each Sunday – individual Quota Game based on Handicap. Pick best 5 scores of all rounds from the season for FINAL league.
- Official GHIN handicap is required to participate in the event to determine Quota (36 – HCP) or average of three rounds of golf.
- Quota is adjusted using scores from last round (see below).
- Each player is encouraged to play all rounds but participation in every round is not required. Must participate in at least 5 rounds to qualify for FINAL EVENT Quota prizes.
- Tournaments are played by official rules (e.g., no gimmes, stakes drop rules, etc.) with minor modifications (e.g., max of +4).
- Pick the tee that works for you!
- All official USGA rules of golf tournament apply unless listed under exceptions.
- No Gimmes –all putts must be made no matter how close to the hole.
Penalties

- White Stake or Lost Ball: two-stroke penalty and distance penalty “or” go back to original spot.
- Red / Yellow Stake: one-stroke penalty. Drop ball at nearest point of entry.
- Provisional Ball: when playing a provisional ball, player must identify the ball and call it provisional.
Scoring

- Players allowed to select tees they are comfortable playing. Quotas will be adjusted for tees based on GHIN handicap calculator for the course.
- Quota Points: 6 points for Eagle, 4 points for birdie, 2 points for par, 1 point for bogie, 0.5 point for double-bogie, 0 point for triple bogie. (Max score is triple bogie).
- ‘Plus’ or ‘minus’ points are calculated based on points made relative to player’s Quota – as shown in table below. Maximum adjustment for negative quota points will be -2. There will be no maximum adjustments for positive quota points.
- For each round, prizes are awarded for (a) 2 Closest to Pins (CTP) on par 3s, (b) skins (lowest score for hole) and (c) top three players with Highest Relative Points to Quota.
- Winning prizes for each round of Golf League will be based on points made relative to quota and for skins (lowest score on hole). In addition, prizes for winners of overall event (final points – sum of five best scores).
